Steal A Brainrot Egg Progression Guide: Speed Milestones & Treadmill Ladder

Four checkpoints, no invented numbers: get the cash loop running so a treadmill upgrade is affordable, train Speed on the treadmill while you read the sign at the gate you want, add a Trail once the shop card shows a multiplier you can afford, and only then push into deeper zones for slower eggs. Where a price, timer or threshold was not readable in the material we hold, this page says so instead of filling it in.

Advance Checkpoint by Checkpoint

Every progression stage needs an unambiguous criteria check before committing your hard-earned cash.

Checkpoint Sequence
  1. 01Stage 01

Checkpoint 1: Get the Cash Loop Running

Place your first Brainrots on your base slots and read the cash-per-second figure each one prints. Do not upgrade anything yet: you are collecting the two numbers the rest of this page needs, your income and the price of the treadmill upgrade on your own screen.

  2. 02Stage 02

Checkpoint 2: Take the First Paid Treadmill Step

In the run we reviewed the first paid upgrade read $15k. If your screen shows a comparable price and your base income pays it off in a session, take it, then compare the per-step Speed readout before and after so you know what one step actually bought you.

  3. 03Stage 03

Checkpoint 3: Add a Trail Only After the Shop Card Shows the Multiplier

Trails multiply movement rather than adding to it. The one observed purchase was a Green Trail at $75k or 19 R$ with a x3 card. Read the card on your own screen, run one extraction with it, and keep it only if the crossing felt genuinely shorter.

  4. 04Stage 04

Checkpoint 4: Read the Gate Before You Commit the Run

Deeper zones post a speed-threshold sign and station a guardian that can force you to drop the egg. Since we could not read those threshold numbers in our footage, test cheaply instead: cross with nothing carried, watch whether the guardian closes on you, and only then go back for an egg.

  5. 05Stage 05

Checkpoint 5: Use the Index Before Grinding a Big Upgrade

First registrations pay out from the Index panel, and the one session we could read showed +$800, +$420, +$120k and +$1.1M claimed in sequence. Open the panel after every hatch and bank what is waiting there before you decide an upgrade is out of reach.

Decision Basis

Know Why the Account Should Advance

Evaluate account thresholds so you never waste speed or funds on dead-end purchases.

Economic Logic
Pillar 01

Speed Is the Gate, Not a Number You Can Look Up

Progression in Steal A Brainrot Egg runs on one stat. The official how-to-play text on the Roblox page states the loop directly: your Brainrots earn cash, that cash pays for treadmill and base upgrades, and treadmill training raises Speed. Deeper parts of the corridor carry a speed-threshold sign, and a guardian that catches you forces you to drop a carried egg. What we can show is the layout: in the creator run we reviewed on 2026-09-17 (video N99sZq8UfU8, published 2026-09-08) the zone signs read Lazy Lowlands, Sleepy Spruces, Dusty Dunes, Tropical Tides, Sugary Springs, Primal Plateau, Meteor Meadows and Sunken Sanctuary in that order. The threshold text on those signs was not readable in the footage, so this page lists no minimum Speed for any zone. Read the sign at the gate you are targeting, and if you cannot read it, do not commit the run.

Pillar 02

Treadmill Upgrades: The Numbers the Run Printed

Three treadmill figures were readable on screen in the 2026-09-17 run: the first paid upgrade read Upgrade Level 1 to Level 2 for $15k, a golden treadmill read +19 per step, and a later upgrade read +50 per step. That is the whole verified ladder. Community pages circulate a 120,000,000 Cash price for a top-tier VIP Treadmill station; that figure never appeared in the run we reviewed and no official source publishes treadmill prices, so this site records it as a community-reported figure and does not state it as a cost. The decision method we recommend is arithmetic on your own screen, not a copied table: divide the upgrade price you can see by the cash per second your own base prints. If the result is longer than you are willing to grind, the upgrade is not your next move. The Resource Calculator runs that division for you.

Pillar 03

Trails: The One Multiplier We Could Read

Speed Trails are shop gear that multiplies movement instead of adding to it, which matters most while you are carrying an egg and slower than usual. In the run reviewed on 2026-09-16 (published 2026-09-09) the player bought a Green Trail at the Trail Shop for $75k or 19 R$, and the shop card described it as a x3 multiplier; the speed change was visible immediately after the purchase. Names like 4x Trail and Max Trail are circulated by community pages, but no multiplier for any higher step was readable in material we hold, so this page does not list a trail ladder. Treat the multiplier printed on the shop card in front of you as the only number that applies to your account.

Pillar 04

Long Timers: What a Slow Egg Really Costs You

Every egg counts down in real time on one of your limited plot slots, so a slow egg is a slot you cannot use for anything else. The longest timers we could actually read were a Galactic Egg at 1h 21m 28s and a Zone 8 Cyber Egg at 3h 59m 56s, alongside short slots at 10m 10s, 7m 53s, 7m 44s, 3m 50s and 1m 59s (same run, 2026-09-16). Egg income per unit is a separate question and no rate for this experience survived the checks behind this site, so no cash-per-second figure for any hatched Brainrot appears here. Before you decide a slow egg is or is not worth its slot, read the income your own placed Brainrots print and the timer your own slot shows.

Common bottlenecks and targeted fixes to restore forward momentum.

Treadmill Upgrades Feel Out of Reach

Stop upgrading and go through the Index panel instead: unclaimed first-registration rewards are lump sums that arrive without a grind. The amounts scale with rarity and no published ladder exists, so read each reward off the panel as you claim it.

A Guardian Keeps Catching Me Even After I Trained Speed

Speed alone does not solve a bad line. Guardians charge in a straight line and turn poorly, so run wide around geometry rather than in a straight line away from the nest, and drop nothing valuable until you have tested the route empty-handed.

My Plot Slots Are All Sitting on Long Timers

A long timer is not a mistake by itself; it is a slot you have spent. While those timers run, spend the session on the treadmill or scouting, and check the timer your own slot prints rather than comparing against a table.
