Saving Time & Upgrade Payback

Enter the cash, income, and price you can see on your own screen. The calculator answers two questions: how long until you can afford the upgrade, and whether that upgrade pays for itself.

Bring four numbers from your own game

Optional. Leave it at 0 if you only want the saving estimate.

Try an example scenario

Example scenarios use made-up numbers so you can see how the maths behaves. They are not game values, and they are not what the upgrade costs in your server.

Result
Estimate

Saving takes about 16m 40s in this example scenario.

  • You still need 20,000.
  • At 20 per second that is 16m 40s of play.
  • Switch to the payback task if you also want to know whether this upgrade earns its price back.
What this estimate assumes

Every number above is the one you typed. Nothing is preloaded from the game, so if a price or income value changes in a new build, this page cannot go stale — your input decides the answer.

The maths assumes your income stays flat while you save. Events, other players, and upgrades you buy in the meantime will move the real time.

Next: follow the progression checkpoints and confirm the price on your own screen before spending.

What It Answers

Two Questions: How Long, and Does It Pay Back

The treadmill is the upgrade this game's own how-to-play text points at, and the decision is arithmetic on your own screen: how long until you can afford the price you can see, and how long until the upgrade earns that price back.

Inputs

How Long Until You Can Afford It

Enter three numbers you can read in your own game: the cash you hold, the cash per second your placed Brainrots print, and the price on the upgrade you are looking at. The tool divides the gap by the income and returns the wait. It assumes nothing about the game.

Payback

Whether the Upgrade Pays for Itself

Treadmill upgrades change the per-step Speed readout on your own plot. Take that reading before and after a purchase and the tool compares the income change with the price you actually paid, so the payback time comes from your readings rather than from a copied table.

Limits

What This Tool Does Not Know

It ships no price list, no timer table and no cash-per-second roster, because the developer publishes none and no rate for this experience survived the checks behind this site. Every number in a result is one you typed. The one worked example we can cite is a treadmill step printed as "Upgrade Level 1 -> Level 2 $15k" with later states reading +19 and +50 per step in the run reviewed on 2026-09-17: use it as a guide to what is readable on screen, not as a price.

One thing to settle first, because treadmill searches land here: the treadmill level, upgrade and multiplier tables and the speed calculators those searches return belong to the differently named game Steal An Egg, not to this one. This game does have a treadmill you can upgrade, but no level list for it has been published, so the tool above takes readings off your own screen instead. If you want the one treadmill reading this site does hold, it sits with the rest of the observed sample in the zone and system notes.
